Here is the old case with 30 months follow up already posted in the group and mentioned in my courses so you can see those composites after longer period of time.
Patient did not want to prepare her healthy teeth for ceramic veneers and that’s how she was referred to my place where we started planning non prep composite veneers. (old fillings were later on removed ofc).
Some certain advantages of Injectable technique compared to free hand bonding is predictability and precision of final primary morphology of our composite veneers since we are copy pasting the wax up.
To block out black background from the inside of the mouth and avoid grayish restorations and to get polychromatic result some more opaque dentine core was placed with the usage of regular palatal shell silicone index. After this first core layer, a universal shade of injectable (highly filled nano particle flowable composite – G-aenial Universal Injectable) was injected through transparent silicone index (Exaclear) which was prepared based on the digital wax up (printed models).
In this case to avoid big excess of the material on adjacent teeth and to have perfect stabilisation of transparent silicone index, wax up was printed as double models (one fully waxed up and one with every second tooth waxed up).
This combination of layering and injectable technique was used to get the best from both worlds. Final micromorphology was carved in with fine diamond flame shaped bur, and polished till the high gloss with the usage of polishing spirals, diamond paste and cotton-rolls.
After 3 years from bleaching tooth 21 got a bit more yellowish again so now we will redo bleacing with in office gel from palatal surfaces.
