Digital dentistry is becoming more common place and we are getting used to digital workflows for implants, orthodontics and restorative procedures. However, can we successfully utilise digital solutions when we have more complex problems to solve? How about when we have interdisciplinary cases? Or changes in vertical dimension to consider.
There will be something for everyone. The main focus will be to show how digital protocols can replace almost every analogue procedure that we use in general and aesthetic dentistry.
Hopefully it will inspire dentists yet to engage with digital technology to get involved. It will show dentists who already have digital technology how to get the most from it and become more productive and efficient. I will also show some protocols that stretch technology to its limits.
Participants will be able to utilise digital solutions for a complete dentistry workflow. I will show how to collect the data needed for examination, records and diagnosis including virtual articulation in centric relation. How to utilise that data to develop a digital treatment plan including digital smile design and digital wax ups. I will show how to use digital planning for orthodontics, implants, restorative and surgical protocols within that treatment plan. I will discuss how to use digital methods to make communication with the laboratory technician more efficient to make production of the definitive restorations even more predictable.
I will also show how to use digital technology to provide same day crowns, inlays, onlays in office.
If you are considering incorporating digital technology into your office or want to make better use of the technology that you already have this course will give you the information that you need to do so.
