So many patients suffer from TMJ issues such as clicking joints, popping joints and crepitus.  There are also countless people suffer from chronic headaches associated with muscle dysfunction related to occlusal instability.  These patients can be treated in a predictable manner by understanding the requirements of occlusal stability.  A clinician must understand how splint therapy can be utilized to achieve these goals.
